The Eye-Nizer™ product line is designed to provide a water purification solution for piped pedicure spas, hot tubs and pool applications reducing the use of harsh and costly chemicals.
Background In the 1960's NASA developed an electrolytic silver ionizer to purify drinking water in the Apollo spacecraft and they continue to use silver for the CO² chemisorptions process on board the Challenger Space Shuttles and the International Space Station. Studies have shown that silver is the best natural broad spectrum germicidal in existence. It acts as a bactericide, fungicide and antibiotic, killing virtually every disease-causing organism within minutes.
This proven technology was the inspiration for the Genieye Eye-Nizer™ and GeniJet Plus™ product line, designed and manufactured by Genieye Systems Inc. for use in spas and pools, for disinfecting water during use. The Eye-Nizer™ release small amounts of pure silver, copper and zinc ions into the water. The Eye-Nizer™helps eliminate algae growth best when used with a very low level of free chlorine (0.6 ppm).
